Senior Cost Accountant

I'm partnering with a client to find an experienced Senior Cost Accountant for a full-time opportunity offering $85,000–$95,000 annually (no bonus). Location: North Dallas (Preston Rd & LBJ/635 area) Schedule: 4 days per week in the office This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in cost accounting, inventory accounting, and COGS analysis. If you've worked in a manufacturing environment and enjoy partnering with operations to drive financial performance, this could be a great fit. 5+ years of accounting experience 2+ years of cost accounting and inventory control experience Strong COGS and inventory accounting background required Manufacturing industry experience preferred Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, advanced formulas) Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) experience is a significant plus Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred but not required) Responsibilities include: Managing inventory accounting and reconciliations Processing inventory and COGS-related journal entries Analyzing gross margin, inventory, and cost variances Supporting month-end close and annual audits Maintaining standard costs and inventory valuation Collaborating with operations and finance teams to identify cost-saving opportunities If you're interested or know someone who may be a fit, please reach out to Thun Lennert at View email address on click.appcast.io Referrals are always appreciated!
