Coding Educator

To support optimal reimbursement and compliance, the full-time Florida Licensed RN Coding Liaison will educate clinical staff on documentation standards, evaluate coding discrepancies, and collaborate with departments to resolve coding issues while working remotely. Key responsibilities Educate Coding, CDI, and clinical staff on documentation importance and coding guidelines Evaluate and resolve coding/CDI discrepancies in collaboration with relevant staff Develop monitoring strategies and performance indicators for coding practices Required qualifications Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing Bachelor's degree in nursing, management, or business 3+ years as a registered nurse in an acute clinical setting 5+ years of inpatient coding experience in an acute care hospital Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
