Coding Educator

To enhance the quality and accuracy of clinical documentation, the Clinical Documentation Educator, a part-time remote position, will support educational activities and collaborate with healthcare professionals while holding a CPC and/or CCS-P certification. Key responsibilities Facilitate educational sessions for physicians and clinicians to improve clinical documentation practices Prepare and present training materials, including PowerPoint presentations, to enhance understanding of coding and compliance Conduct audits of clinical documentation to ensure adherence to compliance guidelines and coding standards Required qualifications CPC and/or CCS-P certification required; nursing or compliance certification is a plus Experience in physician coding and compliance, particularly in Evaluation and Management services Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel Previous experience in auditing and coding of clinical documentation Bachelor's degree preferred; an Associate's degree in Nursing or a relevant field is also considered
