Staff Accountant

Job Description Established boutique CPA firm searching for an experienced tax accountant and bookkeeper to work alongside firm partner. This position is full‑time and available immediately. Preferred Requirements Minimum 2+ years of recent experience in bookkeeping, accounting, payroll tax and income tax Preparation and/or review of corporate, partnership, and individual income tax returns Preparation of quarterly federal and state estimated tax payments Assume tax preparation responsibility for the more complex returns Tax research and preparation of client memorandum Proficient in QuickBooks Knowledge of Lacerte tax software Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products The Ideal Candidate Would Possess Bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance Minimum of 2 years of recent tax experience in public accounting CPA certification preferred or near completion Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Able to work efficiently and effectively independently Able to multi‑task and prioritize simultaneous projects Excellent and flexible work environment, paid holidays, pension plan and two weeks vacation per year.
