Automotive Controller Chestatee Ford | Dawsonville-Dahlonega, GA Join a stable, well-established OEM franchised automotive dealership in North Georgia as our next Controller — a rare opportunity for an experienced dealership accounting professional to step into a long-term leadership role with a supportive ownership team. About the Role We're looking for an experienced, highly organized Controller to lead our dealership's accounting and financial operations. You'll oversee a team of 4, report directly to dealership ownership/management, and be the financial backbone that keeps the store running smoothly and compliant with manufacturer standards. What You'll Do Prepare and submit accurate monthly manufacturer financial statements Oversee all dealership accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger management Perform account reconciliations and monitor cash flow, expenses, and overall financial performance Ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements and internal accounting controls Partner with ownership and management to provide timely, accurate financial reporting and insight Supervise, mentor, and support accounting/office staff What We're Looking For Previous automotive dealership accounting/controller experience strongly preferred Hands-on experience preparing manufacturer financial statements Solid grasp of dealership accounting procedures and internal financial controls Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines Clear communicator and confident leader Dependable, professional, and committed to accuracy and confidentiality What We Offer Competitive salary: based on experience [+ bonus/incentive structure if applicable] [Benefits: health insurance, PTO, vehicle discount, etc.] A stable, professional environment with an established dealership group and long-term growth potential Equal Opportunity Employer Statement Chestatee Ford is an equal opportunity employer.
