Experienced Carpenter
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Day Shift
Location: Hillsboro, OR

GLISS is hiring for a commercial construction company in Hillsboro looking to add an experienced carpenter to their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a skilled team completing commercial construction projects locally. If you have carpentry experience, enjoy working with your hands, and are looking for long-term employment with room to grow, we'd love to hear from you.
Job Duties Include:
- Metal and wood framing
- Drywall installation
- Installing backing, blocking, doors, trim, and hardware
- Reading blueprints and following layouts
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
- Operating hand and power tools safely
- Concrete formwork and demolition as needed
- Loading, unloading, and staging materials
- Maintaining a clean and safe job site
- Working as part of a commercial construction team
Requirements:
- Previous carpentry experience required
- Ability to read basic blueprints and measurements
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs throughout the workday
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work safely in an active construction environment
