As our bookkeeper, you'll play an important role in keeping daily financial operations running smoothly while supporting both our restaurant team and corporate office. What You'll Do Reconcile daily cash drawers and investigate variances Prepare bank deposits Post daily sales totals into Excel sales journals Enter Accounts Payable invoices and house account deposits Reconcile daily credit card and gift card transactions with the POS system and bank records Prepare bi-weekly payroll, including reviewing employee punches, pay rates, and hours worked for accurate processing by the corporate office Prepare month-end financial reports Maintain accurate payroll and Accounts Payable documentation Assist with inventory management and tracking as needed Support front and back of house operations when needed and approved by management What We're Looking For Excellent attention to detail Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office High level of accuracy and confidentiality Preferred Qualifications 2–4 years of bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, payroll, or accounting experience Experience with payroll processing Restaurant or hospitality accounting experience is a plus Experience reconciling cash, credit cards, and bank transactions is preferred Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods of time Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, bend, twist, pull, and stoop as needed Benefits Medical insurance and HSA 401(k) plan with match Wellness Program Dental, Vision, Accident, Life, Critical Illness, Term Life Insurance available Why Join Der Dutchman?
