This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Centreville, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and establish individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and therapeutic goals.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the use of specialized equipment to reduce pain and enhance mobility.
• Regularly track and document patient progress, making modifications to treatment plans as needed based on patient responses and rehabilitation advancements.
• Educate patients and their families on techniques and exercises to support recovery, including the proper use of assistive devices for daily living and ambulation.
• Stay updated with advancements in physical therapy practices by participating in ongoing education, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, sharing insights on treatment effectiveness and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to engage with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records and maintaining accurate patient documentation.
• A commitment to continuing education and professional development, demonstrating adaptability in treatment approaches.

Preferred Experience
