Sales Analyst / Demand Planning Manager-BEAUTY company! LA We are seeking a full-time Sales Analyst / Demand Planning Manager to support strategic forecasting, demand planning, and sales performance analysis for a growing consumer products organization. This role will partner cross-functionally with sales, operations, supply chain, and finance teams to improve forecast accuracy, optimize inventory planning, and deliver actionable business insights that support revenue growth and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, advanced planning experience, and the ability to translate data into clear recommendations. This person will play a key role in balancing customer demand, inventory levels, and business priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, manage, and refine demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, promotional activity, and business inputs. BUILD Dashboard - Power BI by scratch Analyze sales performance, customer trends, inventory movement, and forecast accuracy to identify risks and opportunities. Collaborate with sales, supply chain, operations, and finance teams to align demand plans with business objectives. Monitor inventory levels and help support replenishment strategies to reduce stockouts and excess inventory. Lead monthly and weekly demand planning reviews and communicate forecast updates to key stakeholders. Create dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to support executive decision-making. Evaluate the impact of promotions, seasonality, new product launches, and channel activity on demand trends. Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement best practices in forecasting and sales analytics. Support scenario planning and business modeling to prepare for changes in demand, supply, or market conditions. Maintain data integrity across forecasting and reporting systems. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Analytics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in demand planning, sales analysis, forecasting, or a related function. Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with forecasting, ERP, or supply chain planning systems. Ability to analyze large datasets and present insights in a clear, business-focused manner. Experience working cross-functionally in a consumer goods, retail, or related industry environment is preferred. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple departments. Experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is a plus. Preferred Attributes Strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach to execution.
