Part Time Patient Customer Service Representative

Shift Hours Part Time, PRN as needed/on-call Role Overview As a Customer Service Representative in Patient Registration, you will help patients check into the hospital, answer questions, collect accurate information, and provide compassionate support during registration. Key Responsibilities Use computers and answer phones to intake patient and insurance information in a busy environment. Enter data into multiple systems accurately and quickly while managing interdepartmental interruptions. Provide empathetic support to patients who may be ill or anxious, asking follow‑up questions and building rapport. Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, on‑feet environment, handling variations in health plans and coverage. Collaborate with a reliable team focused on career development within R1 RCM Inc. Requirements High School Diploma or GED. Excellent customer service experience. Up‑to‑date on all vaccinations, ability to pass a drug test and background check. Preferred Skills Medical or healthcare experience. Base Pay $16.00 – $21.10 per hour, depending on role, level, location, skills, experience, and education.
