ComptaPlace is the accounting expertise firm of LegalPlace, experiencing strong growth. Our ambition: to industrialize accounting production by combining operational excellence, technology, and client experience.

We are looking for someone who understands the inner workings of an accounting firm and has a tech-savvy approach to structuring processes, ensuring data reliability, and automating where possible.

Location & Organization

Full remote (with regular travel)

Travel: 2 days per month to Paris or Montpellier

Integration phase: more frequent presence at the start

Your Role

You will be reporting to the Head of Process & Method and will be in direct contact with Product, Dev, and CRM (Salesforce) teams. You will have regular interactions with operational teams (Client Services, Accounting Production).

Your role is cross-functional with a significant impact: you will lead projects, rally teams, and deliver tangible results.

Your Mission

You will act as the bridge between the accounting operational teams and technology. You will understand the firm's constraints, identify problems, and implement sustainable solutions.

Concretely, you will:

• Understand the operational challenges of accounting teams and propose high-impact projects
• Lead cross-functional projects from start to finish: framing, coordination, deployment, and results measurement
• Ensure data reliability so that dashboards and analyses are exploitable
• Automate operational processes to free up employee time
• Explore and integrate AI tools if relevant (agents, LLM, chatbots)

Your Responsibilities

Understanding the Business & Project Management

• Understand the operational constraints of accounting teams (production, client services, onboarding)
• Identify irritants, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
• Frame and manage cross-functional projects with Dev, CRM, and Ops teams
• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders, rally around proposed solutions
• Be a force for change: take a stand, defend your choices, move things forward

Data Reliability

• Audit data quality: exports, detection of anomalies, bug investigations
• Work cross-functionally with Dev, CRM (Salesforce), and Ops teams to address issues
• Propose systemic solutions: fix the problem at a large scale, not just for one client

Dashboarding & Management

• Create and maintain exploitable dashboards (Metabase, Salesforce, Looker)
• Define and track key performance indicators: productivity, processing times, rework rates, customer satisfaction
• Produce analyses to detect weak signals and recommend concrete actions

Automation & Innovation

• Identify processes to automate with a high return on investment (n8n, Zapier, Make)
• Deploy end-to-end automations: triggers, workflows, API connectors
• Explore and integrate relevant AI tools (agents, LLM, chatbots)
• Measure adoption and real gains (time saved, errors avoided, satisfaction)

Your Profile

The Essential Criterion

Experience in an accounting firm. You know the inner workings of a firm: the operational constraints of teams, production accounting processes, sector-specific data, and tools used. Without this knowledge of the terrain, it will be difficult to propose relevant solutions from the start.

Experience (3-5 years)

• Significant experience in an accounting firm (traditional or new generation)
• You have worked with operational accounting teams (production, client services, management)
• You have led or contributed to transformation projects, process improvement, or digitalization in this environment
• Ideally, you have experience with data and tools in this context (dashboarding, automation, reporting)

Tech Savvy (Digital Native)

• You are comfortable with SQL to investigate and audit databases
• You know how to create exploitable dashboards (Metabase, Looker, Power BI or equivalents)
• You know or want to learn automation tools (n8n, Make, Zapier)
• You are interested in AI and what it can bring to accounting processes (agents, LLM, chatbots)
• You don't need to be a technical expert, but you must have a good head on your shoulders and know how to get your hands dirty when necessary

Soft Skills

• Proactive and a force for proposal: you take a stand, you don't just follow instructions
• Ability to animate and rally: you can manage a project with multiple stakeholders and move things forward
• Clear communication: you can explain a technical problem to a non-tech and convince teams to prioritize the right issues
• Independent from the start: you don't need a heavy managerial framework to be effective
• Curiosity and a desire to learn: you want to increase your skills in tech and AI

Our Offer

• Permanent contract, starting as soon as possible
• Salary: 50,000 - 55,000 €/year
• Full remote with 2 days per month travel to Paris or Montpellier
