Food Service WorkerQuad is seeking a full-time day shift Food Service Worker to work within the Quad Cuisine Plant Cafeteria in Pewaukee, WI. The Cook position is responsible for preparing and serving hot and cold foods. Additional duties include assisting with production plant catering functions, including but not limited to cleaning, stocking shelves, washing dishes, pots and pans, and/or any tasks assigned by the department supervisor. Responsible for training new food service workers. Responsible for opening and closing duties during regular business hours. Must be able to run Grill Station within the Operation.This is a day shift position - 6am-2pm with a weekend rotation.Key Responsibilities:Serves food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating the customers' needsReplenishes food items and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levelsMaintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.Adheres to Quad safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitationOther duties and tasks as assigned by the managerSets up workstations, including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, steam tables, etc.Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes work stationsAbility to multitask while providing high customer service and food quality in a fast-paced environmentWill produce food and serve customers at a grill station.Responsible for training new Food Service Workers as neededKnowledge of quality food productionJob Requirements:Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on an equivalent basisEducation: High School Diploma preferredExperience: Minimum of 5 years of food service experience with cooking skills is requiredCertificates, Licenses, Registrations: Serve Safe Manager Certification. Electric Cart Driver Certification provided by the companyKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Ability to lift up to 50 pounds several times a dayAbility to place cases, pans, utensils, and plates on both low and high shelvesAbility to work in hot and cold environmentsAbility to respond to emergency situations to avoid endangering themselvesCustomer ServicePositive attitude and good people skillsPlanning and multi-taskingSelf-motivated with a high energy levelExcellent verbal communicationAbility to learn POS register functionsMaintain Serve Safe Food Handler CertificationComputer applications and office administrative skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and ExcelQualifications:Successful candidates must have the ability to lift 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.Prior food service experience is required.This position also requires a positive attitude and good people skills while in contact with customers and fellow employees.In addition, an understanding of cash register functions as they relate to entering the customer's orders on a touch screen is also required.
