As a Culinary Assistant at Apple Valley Village Health Care Center , you will gain valuable knowledge and experience by serving our residents, employees, and family members’ meals. Meal times and good food will always be a very important part of everyone's lives! Our Culinary Department is a great group to work with and are valued by staff and residents alike. Come and work in a beautiful and rewarding setting while helping seniors enjoy their dining experience.Position Type: Part-Time working various hours including weekdays and rotating weekends
Shifts Available:Evenings 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM, start times can vary at 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM Wage Range: $15.50 - $20.83 / hour depending on experience. Location: 14650 Garrett Ave, Apple Valley, MN 55124 Culinary Assistant Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent service to residents, staff, and families.
- Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and sanitary dietary department.
- Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
- May support kitchen staff with duties such as prepping food.
- Complete additional tasks as needed.
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
- Compassionate, positive attitude and team player.
- Previous serving/dining experience is plus, but not required! We will train!
