Culinary Assistant

Job Overview We are looking for a Culinary Assistant/Server to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Assisted Living Community in Burnsville, MN. Arbor Lane Memory Care and Specialty Care Assisted Living emphasizes the total well-being of our residents in a warm, newly updated and comfortable home. Job Details 56 hours every two weeks Day Shift: 7am-3pm Weekends and Holidays as needed New Early Wage Access Full benefits package offered Responsibilities Follows meal serving schedule and procedures. Offers resident meal choices and meets resident’s specific dietary needs. Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques. Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures. Follows proper procedures for dining room set-up. Follows proper workflow to stay on task. Becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant‑style service. Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift. Promotes and Encourages Positive Resident Relations and Satisfaction Welcomes residents and initiates conversation. Accommodates resident requests such as food substitutions or seating changes. Listens to complaints and responds appropriately, referring issues to Executive Director or Culinary Director as needed.
