333 E County Line Rd Greenwood , IN 46143 United States Shift Day Job Hours Mon-Fri 6:30am-5:45pm Hours vary depending on business needs Job Overview The Associate Patient Access Representative (APAR) is the first contact for visitors. The role handles customer service, patient registration, and financial clearance, including check‑ins, scheduling, payment collection, insurance verification, and compliance management. Responsibilities In addition to front‑office duties, the APAR performs a variety of back‑office functions throughout the network. Proficient in all types of registrations (inpatient, outpatient, and emergency) Completes Admissions, Discharges, and Transfers in a timely manner when applicable Monitors and performs all patient hospital and/or ambulatory movements Utilizes EPIC work queue to pre‑register scheduled patients Verifies medical necessity per CMS standards and communicates coverage and eligibility to patients Accurately enters patient demographics, insurance and financial information for inpatient and outpatient benefits Gathers and verifies all appropriate, confidential health and financial information from patients while using various computer software to assure payment for all authorized services Confirms the completeness of the electronic health record (EHR) and makes necessary changes Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent (Required) 1+ year experience in a healthcare office setting and a strong customer service background (Preferred) Community Health Pavilion Anderson / Scatterfield #J-18808-Ljbffr Community Health Network, Inc.
