Job Summary

Manage and support the Quality department by leading Associates and Quality Engineers in automotive quality, production quality systems, dimensional control, and PPAP activities. Work with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain high-quality standards and resolve quality concerns.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor Quality Associates and Engineers.
• Support customer satisfaction by addressing cost, quality, delivery, and quality concerns.
• Support new business opportunities, including quotes, feasibility, process development, timing, quality, and capacity.
• Lead quality activities for new product launches, including APQP and PPAP.
• Develop and maintain quality systems to reduce defects and meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve quality issues.
• Develop and maintain quality engineering standards and specifications.
• Support process and product design activities.
• Research and implement new quality technology and inspection systems.
• Support continuous improvement and cost-saving activities.
• Assist with Manufacturing Engineering value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE).
• Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to Quality Engineers.
• Serve as a representative for the Quality department with management and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant degree or equivalent education and experience in engineering, skilled trades, design, stamping, process engineering, quality, CAD, or assembly.
• At least 2 years of relevant engineering or quality experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Ability to understand and interpret engineering and quality information.
• Demonstrated leadership and management experience.
• Experience with automotive quality systems, APQP, PPAP, and dimensional control preferred.
