Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to support patient care.
- Monitor patient status, assist with labor and delivery procedures as appropriate, and document care accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure safety, comfort, and quality care.

Requirements
- Active RN licensure (as applicable to the assignment location)
- Experience or proven background in labor and delivery or obstetric nursing
- Ability to work night shifts and 12-hour tours in a hospital setting
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
