Production Operator (2nd Shift)
Location: Spruce Pine, NC
Pay: $19.61/hour starting pay, plus $1.00/hour shift differential upon transfer to 2nd shift
Shift: 2nd shift, MondayThursday, 4:30 PM 3:00 AM
Training: Must train on 1st shift prior to moving to 2nd shift
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities
- Achieve production schedules as directed by production needs
- Produce high-quality parts in accordance with product specifications
- Operate grinders and various hand tools to process cast-aluminum components
- Inspect parts for defects and ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain and perform routine care on equipment
- Strictly adhere to all established safety rules
- Follow process sheets and work instructions accurately
- Assist with training new operators as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with basic hand tools is preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Strong visual acuity to detect part incongruities
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
