Duck Creek Developer

Skillset:

• Skilled within the PC space.

• Insurance domain experience.

Responsibilities :


Policy Center Configuration & Customization : Develop and configure the Duck Creek Policy Center (PC) module to align with business needs, including policy administration, underwriting, and quoting.


System Integration : Work on integrating Duck Creek Policy Center with other internal and external systems such as claims, billing, and third-party services to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.


Requirements Analysis & Solution Design : Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and design custom solutions using Duck Creek technology.


Testing & Debugging : Perform unit and integration testing of configurations, debug issues, and ensure the system functions as expected before deployment.


Support & Maintenance : Provide ongoing technical support for Duck Creek Policy Center, address issues, apply updates, and assist in system troubleshooting.


Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation for all customizations, configurations, integrations, and processes related to Duck Creek Policy Center.


Agile Development : Work within an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.

Experience:

• Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience with Duck Creek Technologies, especially within the Policy Center (PC) module.
• Strong expertise in configuring and customizing Duck Creek Policy Center (PC), including underwriting, policy issuance, quoting, and document generation.
• Experience in integrating Duck Creek with third-party systems and APIs.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Java, XML, SQL, and other relevant programming languages.
• Strong experience with Duck Creek Policy Center (PC) and related tools (e.g., Duck Creek Rating, Duck Creek Content).
• Knowledge of web services (SOAP/REST) and API integrations.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Insurance Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with insurance processes, particularly in policy administration and underwriting, is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills :

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence.
• Duck Creek certifications (e.g., Duck Creek Policy Center) are a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setup.
