Associate Financial Advisor - South Puget Sound

We value people over profits, and we are looking for an Associate Financial Advisor to join us in providing personalized investment services and recommendations. Pay Range Target hourly: $28.99-$35.34. Full range: $22.50-$41.83. Compensation decisions are based on skills, experience, education, and performance incentives are available. Benefits 401(k) Company Match up to 3% and 4% annual contribution Medical, Dental, Vision coverage (family contributions optional) PTO Program + Exchange Program Tuition Reimbursement Program Volunteer time off + donation match through BECU Cares Impact You’ll Make As an Associate Financial Advisor, you will provide tailored investment services, conduct portfolio reviews, and serve as a trusted advisor to our member clients, supporting their financial goals. What You’ll Do Collaborate with Financial Advisors to develop and execute investment strategies for referred members. Offer personalized financial planning and investment advice, including IRAs and 529 plans, aligning recommendations with member needs and risk tolerance. Engage in targeted business development activities and refer prospective clients to BECU Investment Services Advisor when necessary. Develop and market to the existing book of business, increasing service levels and driving sales. Strive to meet sales production goals by identifying member needs and presenting suitable solutions. Deliver exceptional member service through regular reviews and challenge resolution. Partner with external providers to fulfill client needs. Maintain meticulous records to comply with FINRA, OSJ, and insurance regulator requirements. Support and mentor Financial Planner Administrative Assistants or BECU Investment Services employees. Collaborate on branch employee training and education. Adapt to additional responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; two years in financial industry, including customer-facing roles; Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63 and 65) licenses. Desired: Washington Life, Health, and Disability Insurance License; CFP or other industry certifications/designations; thorough knowledge of BECU products and investment company software; excellent communication, organizational, multitasking skills; ability to travel moderately by car or public transportation.
