Recruiting Manager – Accounting Operations & Human Resources (Direct Hire)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Recruiting Manager to join our growing Direct Hire team specializing in Accounting Operations and Human Resources placements. This is a full-cycle role that combines business development, client relationship management, and professional recruiting . The Recruiting Manager will partner with organizations across a variety of industries to identify top talent while building and maintaining a strong network of candidates and hiring leaders.

This position sits on a collaborative team of three professionals and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on both client organizations and candidates' careers.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Management

• Develop and maintain relationships with hiring managers, HR leaders, and executive decision-makers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market intelligence.
• Conduct client meetings to understand hiring needs, organizational structure, and company culture.
• Negotiate service agreements, recruiting engagements, and placement fees.
• Serve as a trusted talent advisor to clients by providing market insights, compensation guidance, and hiring recommendations.

Full-Cycle Recruiting

• Manage the full recruiting lifecycle from intake through offer acceptance.
• Source, identify, and engage top Accounting Operations and Human Resources professionals.
• Conduct candidate interviews and assessments to evaluate experience, skills, career goals, and cultural fit.
• Present qualified candidates and provide detailed recommendations to clients.
• Coordinate interview processes, gather feedback, and manage communication between clients and candidates.
• Facilitate salary negotiations, offer discussions, and successful onboarding transitions.

Relationship Building

• Build and maintain a robust network of accounting, finance operations, payroll, HR, talent acquisition, and shared services professionals.
• Develop long-term relationships with both active and passive candidates.
• Maintain ongoing contact with clients and candidates to create future business opportunities.
• Deliver an exceptional experience throughout the hiring process.

Team & Performance

• Collaborate with team members to share market intelligence, candidate referrals, and best practices.
• Consistently meet or exceed individual recruiting, sales, and revenue goals.
• Maintain accurate activity tracking and pipeline management within recruiting and CRM systems.
• Contribute to a positive, high-performance, team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of recruiting, staffing, sales, business development, or talent acquisition experience.
• Proven ability to build relationships and develop new business opportunities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with a competitive drive and results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to influence and consult with clients and candidates at all levels of an organization.

Preferred Experience

• Direct hire recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting within Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, Procurement, Shared Services, or related professional disciplines.
• Background in staffing, professional services, or consultative sales environments.
