We're looking for a Commercial & Ag Relationship Banker to join our team and take over an established loan and deposit portfolio from day one. This is a rare chance to step into built-in relationships with local farmers and business owners while having the runway to grow the book further. What You'll Do Manage and grow an inherited portfolio of commercial and agricultural relationships Structure and underwrite commercial and ag loans, including operating lines, equipment, real estate, and farmland financing Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and collateral to make sound credit decisions Build new business through community involvement and local ag networks Partner with credit and support teams to ensure smooth loan processing and servicing Stay current on ag market trends, commodity cycles, and local economic conditions What You Bring Solid understanding of agriculture and how farm operations, land values, and commodity markets affect lending decisions Credit underwriting background - comfortable reading financials and structuring deals that make sense Bachelor's degree in finance, ag business, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ties to or familiarity with the Ford County / Central Illinois farming community a plus Why This Role Inherited portfolio means immediate impact, not a cold start Community bank culture - real decision-making authority, less red tape Work directly with local producers and business owners who value a banker who understands their world #J-18808-Ljbffr
