Software Engineer, Spanner Graph Intelligence

Design and develop native capabilities to extract data intelligence (e.g., Graph Algorithms, GNN, Knowledge Graph Construction) on Spanner Graph, enable relationship-aware AI/ML.Design and develop GraphRAG solutions on Spanner Graph to help LLMs/agentic flows with accurate and cost-effective reasoning in context.Partner and work closely with internal and external customers to understand/predict graph intelligence needs and create solutions.Leadd production maintenance and support.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.5 years of coding experience in one or more of the following languages: C++, C, or Rust.3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.Experience with distributed computing, big data analytics, cloud computing, multi-tenant cloud, or AI.Experience with Distributed Databases, Database Internals, Query Processing, and Query Optimization.Preferred qualifications:Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.Experience working with or developing database technology, including graph queries, SQL, query engines.Experience developing graph algorithms.Cloud experience (GCP).Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another.
