Project Manager Newark, DE Job Description This position carries the responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating various projects valued between $1-10M associated with gas distribution and transmission. Responsibilities Leads, with supervision, multi-disciplinary project teams; accountable for planning, coordinating, directing and controlling various gas distribution and transmission construction projects valued at $1-10M. With support of seasoned PMs, monitors project progress according to established timelines, recommends budget adjustments when necessary, and meets with contractors weekly. Assists with the development of Gantt charts and briefs business unit leadership monthly on progress toward timeline and budget milestones. Monitors the project activities to ensure alignment with all State, Federal and Company safety requirements. Applies technical knowledge and project management skills to address unforeseen issues or concerns with the project and takes action to resolve. General understanding of external regulations and requirements. Assist with selection, review of contractor progress. Conducts project meetings to review progress, provide updates and identify risks.
