# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery / Postpartum – New Hampshire

Start Date: April 6, 2026

Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, working in a 19-bed Family Services unit with L&D 1-2:1, PP 3:1, and Gyn/Pedi 3-4:1 patient ratios

Highlights:

• Care for patients across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery in a supportive, team-oriented environment
• Work with comprehensive maternal services including versions, circumcisions, and cesarean sections
• Utilize Meditech Expanse and CPN Connect documentation systems with modern equipment including EFM, specialized beds, and IV pumps

• Patient-centered care model featuring doulas and massage therapy available at patient request
• Unit provides scrubs; float to other units as helping hands, sitter, or virtually as needed

Requirements:

• Active RN license in New Hampshire (must be in hand at time of application)
• L&D experience and Postpartum experience required
• Required certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring), BLS (Basic Life Support)
• LDRP experience preferred; Nursery/NICU experience is a plus
• Optional certifications: STABLE and PALS
