About the Opportunity
We are hiring a skilled MIG Welder to join our rapidly growing fabrication team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality welds, enjoys working from blueprints, and wants long-term stability with opportunities to grow.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel (7 gauge to 1/4 inch).
- Read and interpret detailed welding blueprints and welding symbols.
- Determine proper welds, callouts, and positions for each job.
- Assist with cutting, organizing, and staging materials for the team.
- Operate fabrication equipment, including grinders and cutting tools.
- Perform finishing work such as grinding, insulation cutting, and part prep.
- Spend approximately 80% of your time welding and 20% on fabrication support.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in MIG welding.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols.
- Strong shop math and measurement skills.
- Reliable work history and consistent attendance.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Apple Valley, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.
