Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification)
• Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and classroom management
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, colleagues, and families
• Passion for fostering inclusive learning environments and adapting strategies to meet varying needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create and tailor lesson plans to align with IEP goals and state standards
• Deliver engaging instruction to students with diverse abilities in a resource, self-contained, or inclusive classroom setting
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, service providers, and families to ensure comprehensive support
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
