Fire Sprinkler Superintendent

Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company.The Sprinkler Install Superintendent is responsible for overseeing multiple jobs, large crews, and complex fire sprinkler installation projects. This role combines advanced technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities. The Superintendent ensures operational coordination, safety, and compliance while remaining actively engaged in fieldwork.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Lead and oversee multiple jobs and/or crews in installation of fire sprinkler systems.Coordinate complex projects to ensure timely and efficient execution.Supervise, mentor, and develop technicians, leads, and apprentices.Independently perform installation using hand tools and equipment.Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for installation projects.Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, and company procedures.Manage job site logistics, scheduling, and resource allocation.Review and approve documentation and installation reports for accuracy and completeness.Communicate effectively with customers, leadership, and internal teams.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.Follow all safety procedures and company policies.Travel to job sites as required.Other duties as assigned by management.Education/Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.9+ years of experience in the fire and life safety industry as a technician or above.Must have at least 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role.NICET Level II or above preferred.Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler system installation practices and applicable codes.Must have a clean driving record and active driver's license (if driving is required).Other Duties:Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.Performs other duties assigned by management.Physical Requirements:Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.Ability to lift 50+ pounds.Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.Benefits and Perks:Excellent payMedical, dental, visionCompany paid life insuranceCompany paid short-term disability401K with employer matchPaid vacation and company holidaysTraining and Career DevelopmentCompany vehicle (if job applicable)Immediate qualification for the ALL In Ownership Plan for all eligible full-time employeesPye-Barker Fire & Safety is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
