UPC has been designing and manufacturing retail store fixtures and point-of-purchase displays in Madison, Wisconsin, for almost 50 years, since 1978 . Started as a family business, we have grown and have established ourselves worldwide.  We are employee centric and are looking for strong candidates and long-term commitments. Position Summary
  • Manage full employee life cycle (recruiting, onboarding, changes, and off-boarding).
  • Maintain HRIS/ATS data accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory laws including employment, OSHA and insurance
  • Ensure compliance with all company SOP and guidelines  
  • Update and communicate HR policies, handbooks, and SOP
  • Responsible for payroll and benefits
  • Maintains confidential employment records
  • Develop and execute employee events. (picnic, rewards, wellness, flu shot, etc)
  • Attend employee meetings
  • Conflict resolution
Facility Equipment & Work Environment
  • Light manufacturing and warehouse
  • Offices
Education & Experience
  • 4 years of HR or HR generalist experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field
  • Payroll and benefits experience  
  • Vendor communication. (Medical, Insurance, Retirement, Payroll Administrator, etc.)
