Responsibilities Guide a thriving maternity program within a family‑centered obstetrics environment. Oversee staffing and scheduling of nursing staff. Develop and manage budgets and accreditation readiness. Track and improve quality metrics such as OB hemorrhage, hypertensive disorders, and sepsis bundles. Lead patient experience initiatives and policy development. Coach and evaluate staff, recruit and retain nurses. Foster shared governance and collaborate with interprofessional teams. The Nurse Manager Labor Delivery will report to a Director of Maternal‑Child Health and collaborate closely with OB/GYNs, certified nurse‑midwives, anesthesiology, neonatology, lactation consultants, case management, social work, and perinatal educators.
