This position serves as a key field-based support role providing advanced troubleshooting, onsite technical support, inventory and asset management, and operational support for elementary schools, choice programs, and district operational sites. The role supports Highline's vision of delivering responsive, unified technology services while helping maintain reliable access to technology for staff and students. The ideal candidate is a customer-focused technology professional who is passionate about the mission of HPS and understands the important role technology plays in teaching, learning, and district operations. They bring strong troubleshooting experience across hardware, and enterprise systems, while providing responsive, high-quality support to staff and students. SUMMARY: The position of Tier II Technician Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs or updates computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals at client location or within the Department's offices. Installs and troubleshoots network hardware and peripherals, where assigned. Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces software systems according to end user requirements. Primarily supports administrative operations of the District by working directly with the Building Contact, Tier I Technicians, Systems group and networking vendors to achieve the desired result.
