Teaching Assistant - Multiple Assignments Cohoes City School District, located in the Capital District of upstate New York, serves over 2,000 students. We are seeking committed and qualified Teaching Assistants to support student academic success across the district. Responsibilities Provide instructional support to individual students and student groups on academic and behavioral projects. Implement and support classroom behavioral management strategies during instructional and non‑instructional activities. Assist students in the effective use of instructional resources and technology. Serve as a positive role model and demonstrate appropriate professional behavior. Participate in staff development and training to enhance instructional practice and professional growth. Qualifications Minimum: Associate’s degree and Teaching Assistant certification. Preferred: New York State Teacher Certification or a four‑year degree with Teacher Certification. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a commitment to student development. Salary and Benefits Contract salary, based on experience and the CTA contract.
