We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to manage projects in the field and uphold our high standards of quality. Position Summary The Lead Carpenter is responsible for overseeing day-to-day job site operations, performing skilled carpentry work, and leading field crew members to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to the highest level of craftsmanship. This individual serves as the on-site point of contact for subcontractors, team members, and clients. Responsibilities Lead and manage job site operations from start to finish Supervise carpenters and laborers to maintain efficiency and quality standards Perform high-level finish carpentry, framing, trim work, cabinetry installation, and custom millwork Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Coordinate daily activities with project management Schedule and oversee subcontractors to maintain workflow Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and professional Maintain compliance with safety standards and building codes Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding project progress Complete daily logs and job documentation Qualifications 5+ years of carpentry experience in residential remodeling 2+ years of experience in a leadership role preferred Strong knowledge of kitchen, bathroom, and whole-home remodel processes Ability to manage multiple trades and timelines High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Ability to problem-solve in the field and make sound decisions Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Performance-based bonuses Sign-on bonus opportunities Company fun days and team events (paid) Strong team culture within a family-owned business Opportunity for growth and advancement Consistent, year-round work Why Work With Us We are building more than projects — we are building a team of professionals who take pride in their craft.
