Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1530 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

• 3 months of Trauma Level 4 facility is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local only, travel not allowed. Candidates must live <75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Appalachian Regional Healthcare.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - 2 years of recent MS/Tele or Tele experience required. - 3-6 months Level IV Trauma or above.

Preferred Credentials: - AVADE Level I & II preferred.

Special Requests: - Cannot apply to more than one job at a time. - Travel Pairs will not be accepted on the same shift or unit.

Unit Details: - Short-stay unit with MS/Tele and observation patients. - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Ratios can fluctuate with census and call-ins.

Shift & Scheduling: - You must be willing to accept 84 hours per two weeks scheduling (one week 3x12, next week 4x12). - Every other weekend required.

Floating Requirements: - Float within scope of practice only to 6040, 6041, Rehab, Transfer Unit, and ER Hold.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
