Role Overview: As a Supervisor - Lab Facility, you will lead laboratory operations, staff performance, and compliance efforts while ensuring high-quality diagnostic services and continuous operational improvement. This position supports Pre-Analytical Testing. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing laboratory staff and daily departmental operations Hiring, onboarding, and scheduling staff to ensure appropriate coverage Conducting performance evaluations and coaching team members for growth and development Ensuring timely and accurate laboratory testing and result reporting Supporting staff competency, training, and validation processes Troubleshooting issues related to testing, equipment, and specimen handling Maintaining regulatory compliance and inspection readiness Enforcing laboratory safety standards and maintaining a safe work environment Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality Assisting with expense processing and departmental operations Supporting leadership priorities and performing additional duties as assigned Education: Bachelor's degree in Biological Science OR a related Clinical Science field Experience: Four (4) years of clinical laboratory or related experience License / Certification: State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor License What We Offer BayCare provides a competitive total rewards package designed to support your career and well-being, including: Paid Time Off Tuition Assistance Wellness programs and community perks BayCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
