Our organization, a physician-led independent hospital with over 450 beds located in Kansas City, is on the lookout for a Hematology/Oncology physician to join our team and contribute to the development of a community-focused oncology program.
Key Responsibilities:- Join a community-oriented hematology and oncology team, with a need for two oncologists to support this expanding initiative.
- Manage a manageable patient load, averaging around 17 patients daily.
- Utilize existing resources including Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Financial Navigation, and Nurse Navigation.
- Work with Oracle/Cerner EMR systems.
- Participate in weekly Tumor Conferences as part of our partnership with the Mayo Clinic Care Network.
- Access clinical trial resources to enhance patient care.
- Collaborate with a dedicated Oncology APRN for inpatient coverage, averaging 15 patients per day.
- Encourage applications from both practicing oncologists and fellows graduating in 2027 as we grow rapidly.
- H-1B visa sponsorship is available; however, we are unable to sponsor J-1 waivers.
- The Medical Director will receive a competitive base salary along with medical director compensation and wRVU bonuses, with potential earnings exceeding $1,000,000 annually.
