Job DescriptionWe are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director of Virtual Payment Sales to lead a high-performing team of Merchant Payment Services Virtual Payment SpecialistsKey ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop a team of virtual sellers responsible for inbound lead conversion and proactive outbound prospectingDrive disciplined pipeline management, SLA adherence, and sales activity tracking within CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)Establish and execute hub-based sales strategies that maximize conversion, speed to lead, and productivity per sellerDevelop and monitor revenue, volume, and market share goals aligned to merchant acquiring objectivesPartner cross-functionally to ensure seamless lead routing, onboarding, and client experienceLeverage data and reporting to optimize sales performance, conversion rates, and funnel healthEnsure timely follow-up with leads and referrals, reinforcing a rapid-response engagement modelIdentify trends in customer needs, digital behavior, and competitor offerings to continuously refine strategyBuild a strong, performance-driven culture focused on accountability, coaching, and resultsOversee budget, staffing, and resource planning to support scalable growthDevelop relationships with internal partners and external industry stakeholders as neededLocation RequirementRole is based in Atlanta, GA, supporting a centralized hub of virtual sales professionalsBasic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience- Typically eight to 10 years of relevant experiencePreferred Skills/ExperienceDirect experience leading inside sales, virtual sales, or contact center-based teamsTypically, 8–10 years of relevant sales and/or sales leadership experienceStrong knowledge of merchant acquiring and payment solutionsProven success managing teams focused on high-volume inbound/outbound sales motionsAdvanced proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales productivity toolsDemonstrated ability to drive pipeline discipline, conversion improvement, and activity-based performance managementStrong analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions and improve outcomesExcellent coaching and leadership skills, with a track record of building high-performing, metrics-driven teamsEffective verbal and written communication skills, particularly in virtual engagement environmentsStrong understanding of banking products/services, operations, and evolving payment trendsAbility to make independent, data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environmentLocation ExpectationsThis role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, with an expectation of 3 or more days per week in office and flexibility to work remotely on remaining daysIf there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.Benefits:Our approach to benefits and total rewards considers our team members’ whole selves and what may be needed to thrive in and outside work.
