FP&A Manager

SaaS Industry Experience Required | PE Backed | Adaptive Planning Experience Required | REMOTE - EST Our client, a private equity-backed SaaS organization, is seeking an FP&A Manager to join their growing finance team. This is a highly visible, net-new role offering the opportunity to build, scale, and modernize FP&A capabilities in a fast-paced, acquisition-driven environment. This position will partner closely with executive leadership and play a critical role in financial planning, reporting, and strategic decision support. The ideal candidate brings strong SaaS FP&A experience, hands-on modeling expertise, and prior exposure to PE-backed environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own consolidated financial reporting and forecasting across the organization
• Prepare executive- and board-level reporting packages, including variance analysis and KPI dashboards
• Deliver insights on business performance, including risks and opportunities across business units
• Track and analyze key SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, NRR, CAC, LTV, Rule of 40)

• Lead rolling forecasts, budgeting, and long-range planning processes
• Build and maintain sophisticated, driver-based financial models from scratch (3-statement modeling required)
• Develop revenue and expense forecasts tied to key operational drivers, including headcount and unit economics
• Support scenario analysis and provide forward-looking insights to leadership

• Serve as a key resource for Adaptive Planning, including involvement in upcoming redesign and optimization efforts
• Partner cross-functionally to improve financial systems, reporting structure, and data integrity
• Drive automation and process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and scalability
• Help architect financial reporting frameworks to support continued growth and M&A activity

• Partner with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to support key initiatives
• Provide ROI analysis on strategic investments, automation efforts, and operational initiatives
• Support M&A activities including diligence, integration, and performance tracking
• Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus)
• 4-6+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience
• SaaS industry experience required, with strong understanding of recurring revenue models and unit economics
• Private equity-backed company experience required
• Prior experience in companies under ~$500M in revenue strongly preferred
• Advanced financial modeling skills, including full 3-statement modeling
• Hands-on experience with Adaptive Planning (required), ideally including implementation or major enhancements
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or Sage Intacct
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
