ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (LBS1) for a full-time, school-based position in Rockford, IL for the 2026-2027 school year.
Position Details:
Full-time
Start date: August 17, 2026
Middle School self-contained classroom
Primarily teaching Math
Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction in a self-contained classroom setting
Develop and implement IEP goals
Deliver engaging math instruction tailored to student needs
Collaborate with classroom staff, related service providers, and families
Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
Qualifications:
Active Illinois LBS1 Special Education teaching license
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
Previous middle school and/or self-contained classroom experience preferred
