Job DescriptionRole Description The Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Culver City, CA. This position is responsible for identifying and qualifying prospective business customers, presenting Onward’s broadband and fiber solutions, and guiding potential clients through the sales cycle. Day-to-day tasks include conducting sales activities, preparing proposals, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, and following up to close new business. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience, providing product and service information, and supporting customers with clear, timely communication. The Sales Specialist will also participate in local outreach events, training sessions, and ongoing professional development to stay current on Onward’s offerings and industry trends.QualificationsStrong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written abilities for engaging with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.Customer Service and Training skills to support clients, address inquiries or issues, and help educate customers about products and services.Sales skills with a focus on prospecting, negotiating, closing deals, and meeting or exceeding revenue targets.Sales Management skills such as pipeline management, forecasting, and prioritizing opportunities for maximum impact.Previous experience in telecommunications, internet services, or related technology fields is beneficial.Comfort working in an on-site environment in Ontario, CA, with reliable time management and organization skills.Proficiency with CRM software, basic office productivity tools, and data entry for maintaining accurate sales records.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education orrelevant certifications in business, communications, or sales are a plus.Company Description Onward, formerly known as Inyo Networks, is a nationally recognized internet service provider and broadband network operator that has been serving communities since 2009 as a registered CLEC in both California and Nevada.
