What You’ll Do

• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology care, including patient rounding and consultation
• Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests
• Manage general cardiology cases such as hypertension, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valve disease
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, supervising APPs and participating in shared caseload management
• Support complex adult patients, ensuring quality care across varied cardiac conditions
• Document care using EPIC EMR system efficiently and accurately
• Participate in remote readings as needed (limited to occasional remote case reviews)

What You Need

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Certified in Cardiology; fellowship in General Cardiology required
• Wisconsin medical license (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid DEA license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least 2 years’ experience in inpatient rounding and outpatient cardiology
• Proven ability to supervise APPs and work in a team environment

Inpatient and outpatient care will include managing a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, interpreting diagnostic studies, and collaborating closely with medical teams. The facility offers a robust support system, with experienced staff including nurses, imaging technicians, and APPs, ensuring high standards of patient care and provider support.
