Immediate Medical Assistant contract position available for our OBGYN physician practice group in Deer Park, NY.

Note: Experience in OBGYN preferred

Pay Rate: $23.00/hr
Work Schedule:

8:30am - 4:30pm (Monday)
9:00am - 5:00pm (Tuesday)
12:00pm - 8:00pm (Thursday)
8:00am - 4:00pm (Friday)
30 hours per week

Responsibilities:

Obtain the patient's medical history and document in the electronic medical record
Medical chart review, assisting providers, rooming patients, taking patient vital signs, phlebotomy and preparation of exam rooms
Assist with front desk responsibilities, as needed

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
Experience in OBGYN preferred
BLS Certification
Be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
EPIC system experience a plus
