JOB SUMMARY

The Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery's primary job responsibility is to deliver the most remarkable patient experience, in every dimension, every time. The Nurse Manager facilitates an environment that allows staff to be present with patients and their families by supporting their desire to positively impact the health and well-being of our patients, our families, and our communities through the nursing process. The Nurse Manager strives to spend at least 50% of his/her time on the unit and is visible, present, and available to staff to provide necessary mentoring, teaching and support. Nurse Managers develops and maintains collegial relationships with physicians, clinical educators, and other interdisciplinary team members. She/he provides leadership and creates a strategy to achieve the best outcomes including but not limited to quality, financial vitality, employee, and customer satisfaction. The Nurse Manager reports to the Department Director/Senior Director.

Analysis: Analyzes processes and creates deliverables to provide information and recommendations for improvements.

• Implements measures to minimize theft, damage, or equipment breakdown.

The incumbent may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: 4 Year/Bachelor's Degreein Nursing required. Graduate Degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical RN experience in an acute care setting required. 2years ofsupervisory experience preferred. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy for additional details.

Licensure: Current RN licensure in applicablestate required. Certificationin specialized area preferred.

Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred : Board certification in area of practice.

The base compensation range for this role is $44.55- $73.78 hourly

Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education. Please note that the pay range does not include any applicable incentive compensation programs such as shift differentials, clinical ladders, and other incentives that may be available for those in eligible positions.
