Aerospace Company based in Bloomfield is seeking highly motivated and results driven Machinists and Waterjet operators to join our growth oriented and forward thinking team of professionals. 

Waterjet/Machine operator should be able to efficiently pull, move and load material on waterjet /machine table. Record and fill out proper paper work to meet customers’ requirement as well as following all internal procedures. Waterjet/Machinist operator will be required to process the following activities. 

Responsibilities include the following.  

·         Must be able to read and understand work instructions information ( English Only ) 

·         Effectively communicate with shop floor supervisor and production control manager 

·         Perform machine push button cycles 

·         Perform daily maintenance check list 

·         Produce quality parts and verify them for accuracy. 

·         Inspect parts and understand any changes if required 

·         Run multiple machines 

·         Safely move material pallet jack / charts 

·         Maintain a clean work environment 

·         Clean all tools and machines at end of shift 

·         Report any non-conformance’s to shop floor supervisor immediately 

·         Turn off all equipment at end of shift 

 

Qualifications and Skill Requirements  

·         1-3 years of CNC machine tool experience in a manufacturing environment 

·         Read and understand blueprints 

·         Detailed with good decision skills to meet customers demand 

·         Work with Shop Floor Supervisor for suggesting improvements 

·         Capable of lifting 40 pounds frequently 

·         Capable of working in a noisy environment. 

·         Capable of working extra hours 

·         Capable of working in wet environments 

 

Highly Desirable  

Experience working for metal fabrication and/or machining companies in a low volume/high mix environment
