Trial Attorney

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for a Personal Injury Litigation Trial Attorney who will be responsible for handling complex cases from the filing of the Petition to the jury trial. Most case are non-subscriber industrial accident cases involving catastrophic injury. You will also handle medical malpractice cases, wrongful death cases, dram shop cases and some commercial litigation. You must be able to handle the cases from start to finish in State and Federal courts with minimal supervision, including a heavy motion practice, mediations, depositions and experts in multiple fields. Scheduled hours are primarily 8a-5p, Monday - Friday with occasional weekend, overnight travel and after-hours projects as needed.

What You Bring

The full-time Personal Injury Litigation Attorney will have at least 4 years of personal injury litigation assisting.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of personal injury trial law experience
• First chair or significant second chair trial experience
• Extensive deposition experience, including expert depositions.
• Excellent research, writing and communication skills
• Must be a team player and willing to do whatever it takes to provide the highest quality legal services
• Active member of State Bar of Texas
• Juris Doctorate
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus but not required.

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to travel to offsite assignments
