Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

RN – Emergency DepartmentShifts include days, nights, and weekends with a weekend requirement of at least every other weekend.Contract length is 13 weeks with guaranteed hours of 3 shifts per week. Floating may be required to partner facilities or between departments.RequirementsMinimum 1 year RN experience requiredTrauma Level IV experience requiredEpic (electronic charting) experience requiredCurrent certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALSClinical skills include general ED care for adults and pediatrics, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, central line care, IV vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP and ventilator patient care, isolation precautions/PPEResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care in the emergency department for a diverse patient population, including infants through geriatricsConduct patient evaluations and triage incoming patientsManage critical situations and collaborate with interdisciplinary teamsAdminister medications and treatments per hospital protocolsMonitor and document patient progress in electronic health recordsEnsure adherence to safety and health regulationsParking details will be provided. Compliance documents are due two Fridays prior to the start date. Mandatory pre-start modules require 10–15 hours of completion, due one week before the start. Labs must be completed within 48–72 hours of signing.
