Purchasing Assistant

Position Purchasing Assistant – Contract (60‑90 days, weekly pay & insurance for qualified individuals). Job Overview We’re seeking a Purchasing Assistant for a contract opportunity with a company that values precision, communication, and teamwork. The role will involve supporting the supply chain team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Enter and maintain purchase and manufacturing orders, including updates for pricing, quantities, and delivery timelines. Coordinate with vendors to confirm orders and ensure timely shipments. Track and manage rehandle orders and incoming components for production. Collaborate with Receiving to resolve discrepancies in order quantities. Monitor and update shipping details and documentation for all orders. Support Customer Service and Sales teams with direct shipment orders and sample tracking. Prepare monthly vendor performance reports. Keep your workspace organized and contribute to a positive team environment. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior purchasing administrative experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
