Maintenance Manager

Elevation Foods, a culinary-driven prepared foods manufacturer serving leading grocery retailers and foodservice operators across North America, is hiring a Maintenance Manager for our Danvers, MA facility. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can keep two complex production lines (GMC and F5) running at their best — different automation levels, different mechanical demands, one team responsible for both. You'll lead a small maintenance crew, drive uptime, and bring boiler, electrical, and controls expertise in-house instead of relying on outside contractors. What you'll own: Lead, train, and schedule a small maintenance crew, including performance management and time-off scheduling Plan, assign, and perform preventive and repair maintenance across the facility, grounds, and both production lines Track OEE and use that data to drive real improvements in uptime and efficiency Manage work orders from open to close, accurately and on time Own the maintenance budget and parts inventory Coordinate outside contractors for specialized repairs, ensuring SQF/SSOP/GMP compliance on every job Maintain preventive maintenance schedules, repair records, and MSDS documentation per SQF/SSOP/GMP standards Lead maintenance safety meetings Support basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical tasks as needed What you bring (required): Food manufacturing experience — this is mandatory Strong OEE reporting capability Experience working within L2L Boiler and electrical expertise Strong automation controls capability Deep subject-matter expertise across industrial machinery and plant systems Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed Nice to have: Foreman or contractor license Physical requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, and operate lift equipment Comfortable working in varied conditions, including coolers, freezers, and outdoor elements Prolonged walking, standing, bending, and kneeling as needed for repair work Why Elevation Foods: Join a fast-growing prepared foods manufacturer at a facility that runs two major, complex production lines — a role with real ownership over plant reliability and a direct hand in reducing outsourced maintenance costs. #J-18808-Ljbffr Elevation Foods
