Registered Dietitian

Overview Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) is recruiting a registered dietitian to support our nonprofit mission of individualized care for patients with chronic kidney disease. We are looking for motivated, compassionate individuals to provide top‑notch patient care and build relationships with patients in a clinic setting that offers a lower caregiver‑to‑patient ratio than many other providers. Schedule Fulltime, Monday through Friday, shift starts at 8:00 am. Weekends are off. Compensation Annual pay range: $60,320–$64,900, depending on renal experience. Experience is preferred. Complete comprehensive nutrition assessments for all new and at‑risk patients. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and patient to develop and implement individualized care plans based on nutritional assessment; review monthly and document progress toward established goals. Identify specific interventions necessary to meet nutritional needs based on evidence‑based guidelines, best practices and current research. Educate patients and family/caregiver about renal diet and fluid management. Monitor monthly laboratory results and weight changes, making recommendations to meet established goals. Utilize a patient‑centered care approach, respecting and responding to individual and cultural preferences while encouraging engagement. Participate in Quality Assessment Performance Improvement process, documenting and attending meetings per clinic policy. Compile and create nutrition materials to promote adherence to renal diet guidelines. Communicate nutrition concerns with the care team, including attending physicians. Share kidney disease and nutrition advances with the care team as needed. Qualifications Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated clinical proficiency. Desire to collaborate with care teams. Ability to problem‑solve. Education/Training Must be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a Commission on Dietetic Registration. Minimum one year of professional work experience as a registered dietitian (post‑registration exam). Previous renal care experience preferred, not required. Job shadow opportunities available.
