Bethany Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about enhancing the nutritional health and overall well-being of our residents while working in a collaborative rehabilitation and long-term care environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents upon admission and as needed
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, speech therapy, and food service teams to support resident care
Monitor residents' nutritional status, weight trends, lab values, and dietary intake
Provide nutrition counseling and education to residents, families, and staff
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to dietary services
Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
Review menus and therapeutic diets to ensure nutritional adequacy and regulatory compliance
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record
Qualifications

Registered Dietitian credential required
Current state licensure/certification as required
Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred
Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and therapeutic diets
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
